Jamshedpur, July 21: Bank of Baroda’s (BoB) Jamshedpur Regional office celebrated the 115th Foundation Day with great social resolve. The celebratory programme commenced with a bike rally at 7 am with the purpose of creating social awareness on the importance of COVID vaccines and booster doses. Various digital services of the Bank were also communicated to citizens during the bike rally. White and saffron coloured balloons were released as part of the celebrations. Senior BoB Rgional office executives cut a cake to commemorate the occasion.
A free health checkup camp was organized in the BoB Regional Office premises for staff members and customers, courtesy, Brahmanand Narayana Multispecialty Hospital. More than 150 staff members, their families and customers underwent health checkup that included diabetes, blood pressure, hemoglobin and ECG tests. The Hospital’s medical team urged people to lead a healthy lifestyle.
A voluntary blood donation camp was organized on this occasion. Children of BoB’s staff members participated in a painting competition.
Other celebratory features included presentation of 150 umbrellas to the Jamshedpur Traffic Police Department, distribution of books, tiffin boxes, bags, study material and stationery items, fans and tables to needy schools as per their requirements as a part of the Bank’s CSR activity. A tree plantation drive was also organized on the occasion. Staff members of all branches under BoB’s Jamshedpur Region participated enthusiastically in the Bank’s 115th Foundation Day celebrations.
