Jamshedpur: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, today (February 4) Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital (BNMH) organised a program Rubaroo for cancer survivors.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Amit Kumar (Cancer Specialist), Dr. Ashish Kumar (Cancer Surgeon), Dr. A Waheed Khan (Kidney Specialist) and Dr. M.L. Ali (Clinical Director) by lamp lighting. Around 30 treated cancer patients took part in the program and shared their experiences to common people.
They shared and encouraged that one need not to worry from cancer rather need to understand the cancer. Dr. Amit Kumar and Dr. Ashish Kumar shared the health tips for cancer. They focused on the points – how to prevent cancer. The program was concluded by blowing off bunch of balloons with message of healthy living.
In future BNMH will form a club for cancer survivors with aim of spreading awareness among societies and common people. Time to time, Hospital will arrange various program for cancer survivors so that others can be educated.
