Jamshedpur, Nov 23: No COVID-19 death was reported in Jamshedpur on Monday, November 23 while 27 new positive cases came up. 47 people recovered of the virus in a single day on Monday as recovery rate climbed to 97%.
Coronavirus positive cases in Jamshedpur reached 16591 with 27 new cases reported on November 23. The death toll remained at 369 with three deaths reported in East Singhbhum district.
47 people recovered of the virus on Tuesday taking the total recovery to 15999 while active cases in Jamshedpur have climbed below 250 mark. Active cases in Jamshedpur are 223.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 131363 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97 % while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 362450 samples have been collected out of which 349687 have been tested and 333096 have turned out to be negative.
On the other hand, the state has achieved yet another milestone in its battle against Coronavirus as on Monday the total number of active cases of Covid-19 came below 2300 mark. Active cases in the state stand at 2202.
On the other hand the Coronavirus tally in the state on Monday reached 1,07,688 as 219 new cases of Covid-19 were detected across the state. During the day 2 deaths were reported including 1 each in Dhanbad and Ranchi. The overall death count has reached 953 in Jharkhand.
The recovery rate in Jharkhand is 97.07% while the mortality rate is 0.88 %.
