Jamshedpur, July 29: To commemorate J R D Tata’s birth anniversary, the East Singhbhum Chapter of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) is organizing a blood donation camp on 29th July 2021 at Red Cross Bhawan, Sakchi.
Sponsored by Tata Pigments Limited, an associate company of Tata Steel Group, this camp will be inaugurated by P S Reddy, Managing Director, Tata Pigments on 29th at Red Cross Bhawan. The blood donation camp is expected to see a large number of youth to donate blood and Mr Bijay Kumar Singh, Hony Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, has appealed to blood donors to visit the camp site to donate blood. The Red Cross Society is paying homage to J R D Tata, the doyen of Indian industry and a great philanthropist, by organizing this blood donation camp on his birth anniversary as he has always extended generous assistance for humanitarian efforts and patronized social development.
While the members and volunteers of Indian Red Cross Society will assist in successful organizing of the camp, doctors and other technical staff from the Jamshedpur Blood Bank will assist in collection of blood. All necessary COVID219 guidelines will be followed during the camp.
