Chaibasa, Dec 27: A blood donation camp was organized today in commemoration of industrialist and social worker Sitaram Ji Rungta�s 100th birth anniversary. The camp was organized in the premises of Bharat Scouts and Guides. 147 units of blood were collected on the occasion. The blood donation camp was organized with active participation of Voluntary Blood Donors� Association and Jamshedpur Blood Bank. Chaliama Steel Plant of Rungta Mines provided support to the noble cause.
West Singhbhum district Deputy Commissioner and president Bharat Scouts and Guides Arwa Rajkamal, Deputy Director of Mines Santosh Kumar Singh, District CMO-cum-Civil Surgeon Dr Manju Dubey, District Mining Officer Sanjiv Kumar, Saraikela Raja Aditya Pratap Singhdev, Sadhu Singh from Noamundi, industrialists Nand Lal Rungta and Mukund Rungta and many other dignitaries paid floral tributes on the occasion of late Sitaram Ji Rungta�s 100th birth anniversary.
Sitaram Ji Rungta worked a lot in the realms of education. He was the Life Commissioner of the district Bharat Scouts and Guides.
