Jamshedpur: A mega Inter School Event �Blaze� was organized at SDSM School for Excellence on Saturday. A total of 16 schools of the city participated in this mega event.
As many as 800 participants registered under different categories.
A total of thirteen events were held for the students. They included Bijouterie (A Jewelled Crown), Chittransh (Face Painting), Coup D�e Maitr�e (Pencil Sketching), Crintech (Science Model Making), Garbasset (Best Out Of Waste), Voyage Of Mysteries (Treasure Hunt), Brain Blaster, Step Up (Dance), Satrangi (Hindi Group Singing), Dastango (Choral Story Telling), Dramatics (Hindi Skit), Tableau Vivant (Character Enactment) and Haute Couture (Ramp Walking).
The students participated enthusiastically, making it a grand success.
Overall Winner School was Shiksha Niketan, Telco, 1st Runner Up Schools was Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco, 2nd Runner Up Schools was Chinmaya Vidyalaya, South Park, Bistupur and for Most Discipline School was Shiksha Niketan, Telco.
Earlier, the ceremonial lamp was lit by Ronald D�costa, who inspired students with his encouraging words in his inaugural speech.
The prizes were given by Tapas Sahu, Executive Director, CEO, HIGHCO Engineers Private Limited. The Principal of the school Moushumi Das, in her address, spoke on futuristic vision and conveyed the necessity of defining one�s goal in life.
