Jamshedpur, July 1: Congress party national spokesman Dr. Ajoy Kumar slammed the Jharkhand BJP chief Tala Marandi on Friday following his son allegedly marrying a minor.
In a press release issued on Friday, Dr. Ajoy said, at first Munna Marandi, son of Tala Marandi, sexually assaulted a minor girl and when she pleaded for justice she was offered wedding temptation. This is a very serious issue.
The BJP, which always talks about morals and principles, should now answer to the people, as the incident has been took place with the state BJP chief’s son and the event occurred under his eyes, Dr Ajoy said.
The press communiqué further stated that CM Raghubar Das should tell why the girl who went to the police station was not treated with care and when the matter came to Women Commission everyone concerned tried to hide the issue.
In fact, they allegedly wanted to ensure that the sexual harassment case should not be exposed, which in itself raises several question.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah should take immediate action against Tala Marandi.
Dr Ajoy said that the Congress party will take the matter to the mass and expose the real face of BJP. Now, people should wake up and identify the real face of BJP.
“All Jharkhand residents should stand by the minor girl so that she gets justice then only women security would be ensured,” the press release said.
