Ranchi: The counting of votes for the Jharkhand Assembly elections is underway, with a fierce contest between BJP candidate Purnima Sahu and Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar.
As of the ninth round of counting, Purnima Sahu has established a significant lead with a total of 50,671 votes, while Dr. Ajay Kumar trails with 28,991 votes. Sahu has maintained a commanding margin of approximately 21,680 votes over her Congress rival.
The outcome of this key constituency is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the political landscape of the state. Counting continues as both parties remain hopeful for their respective candidates.
