Jamshedpur: An introductory meeting of �Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao� campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party was held at the Jamshedpur Mahanagar office on Thursday. Jamshedpur Mahanagar president Dinesh Kumar and state convenor for the campaign Seema Patra attended the meeting along with all members of the newly formed cell. The meeting was chaired by the district convenor Kulvinder Singh Pannu.
Addressing the meeting, Dinesh Kumar said now people no longer consider daughters as a burden. He said it was the moral responsibility of parents to treat their sons and daughters equally. He said daughters should get adequate opportunities to get education.
Seema Patra, in her address, said the BJP cell specially formed for women empowerment and creating awareness on �Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao� campaign should work sincerely to achieve its goals.
