Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP workers launched a mass contact programme in Zone Number 3, Birsanagar, on Thursday. They visited several hundred households and appealed to the residents to cast their vote in favour of BJP candidate Bidyut Baran Mahato. They said the BJP was getting huge response from the people as was evident from the reaction of people during the campaign.
Addressing a meeting held on this occasion, CM�s representative Pawan Agrawal said the voters should use the adult suffrage to choose the right candidate. He also appealed to the people to decide their choice candidate by taking into consideration cultural nationalism and development. He claimed that Bidyut Baran Mahato was sure to win by a margin of at least three lakh votes.
Agrawal said both the Central as well as the state government had worked sincerely to remove poverty. He said the Congress and its allies had done nothing for the poor people, especially farmers.
Among those present on this occasion included Sriram Prasad, Tejendra singh, Jitendra Tiwary, Ganesh Mishra, Vishnu Gorai and Sanjeev Kumar.
