BJP won’t cross 180 seats in LS election: Jharkhand Congress Chief Rajesh Thakur

Ranchi, April 8: Jharkhand Congress President Rajesh Thakur has asserted that Prime Minister Modi’s attention has been diverted since the release of the Congress party manifesto, causing panic within the BJP ranks. Thakur boldly predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would witness a significant reduction to merely 180 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

According to Thakur, the BJP, which has been in power for a decade, is now resorting to divisive tactics rather than reflecting on its ten years of governance. He accused the BJP of persistently employing divisive Hindu-Muslim narratives to polarize voters during elections, urging the public to remain vigilant against such strategies and focus on issues rather than succumbing to rumors.

Thakur further alleged that the BJP seeks to instill communalism in the nation and lacks faith in the Constitution. He criticized Prime Minister Modi for engaging in what he described as unruly behavior and diversionary tactics to deflect attention from core issues. Thakur emphasized that the current elections are crucial for preserving the Constitution and ensuring justice for all sections of society, including farmers, youth, and women.

Highlighting the Congress manifesto’s emphasis on justice, All India Congress spokesperson Jyoti Singh outlined the party’s commitment to five pillars of justice, including youth justice, farmers’ justice, women’s justice, labor justice, and equity justice. The manifesto pledges immediate recruitment to address job vacancies, the abolition of certain schemes, guaranteed minimum  support prices for farmers, and enhanced social security measures, among other initiatives.
