Jamshedpur: BJP Mahila Morcha took out an awareness rally on the occasion of World Cancer Day on Sunday. It was led by district president Neeru Singh. It started at Bada Hanuman Mandir, Mango, and concluded at Daiguttu. The chief guest of the occasion was the district BJP president Dinesh Kumar. He said there was an urgent need to apprise everyone about the hazards of cancer. People should adopt healthy habits to stay away from cancer, he said.
Dr Ragini Singh, present as a special guest, said regular exercise, proper and regular diet and abstaining form tobacco and alcohol could prevent cancer. Many people were present during the programme.
