Seraikela: State BJP president cum Singhbhum MP Laxman Gilua on Sunday said the party was sure to register a landslide victory in the 2019 elections. He said the PM had given a goal of winning 350 seats which will be achieved by the party workers at any cost.
Gilua was addressing a Seraikela Assembly constituency level meeting of BJP held at the Seraikela Community Centre. The meeting was chaired by the district BJP president Uday Pratap Singhdeo.
Addressing the meeting, Gilua said the Central government was organizing various programmes on the completion of four years in power. The party members should reach out to the people, especially in the rural areas, and inform the people about the Central and state government schemes being run for their benefits, said Gilua.
The BJP president said the Prime Minister had started 151 schemes for the people of the country. The people should be informed about the benefits of these schemes so that they may avail them, he said.
Gilua said the BJP had conquered 80 per cent seats in the recently-held municipal elections in the state. He said these were a sign of the BJP’s upcoming victory in the 2019 elections.
Among others present at the meeting included Ichagarh MLA Sadhucharan Mahato, former MLA Anant Ram Tudu, Adityapur Mayor Vinod Srivastava, Deputy Mayor Amit Singh, Ashok Sarangi, Seraikela Panchayat president Meenakshi Patnayak, Basko Besra, Vidya Sagar Dubey and Badri Darogha.
