Jamshedpur: The BJP celebrated the party’s electoral performance in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. Party leaders termed the results a clear endorsement of development-oriented governance and nationalist ideology.
To mark the occasion, BJP workers gathered at the party’s office in Jamshedpur. The celebrations featured fireworks, drum beats, and the distribution of sweets and traditional snacks, including laddoos and jhalmuri.
“Historic” Success in West Bengal
State BJP spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale described the party’s performance in West Bengal as “historic,” asserting that the people of the state have “scripted a new political chapter”. He noted that the outcome reflects growing public confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Highlighting Bengal’s cultural and intellectual legacy, Kale linked the victory to the ideals of prominent figures such as:
- Syama Prasad Mookerjee and Swami Vivekananda
- Subhas Chandra Bose and Rabindranath Tagore
- Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay and Khudiram Bose
He characterized the result as an ideological triumph rather than just a simple electoral win.
Triple Strike in Assam
In Assam, Kale highlighted that the BJP secured a third consecutive term, surpassing the 100-seat mark under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. He attributed this success to public approval of governance defined by:
- Stability and Transparency
- Improved Law and Order
Shift Toward Development
According to Kale, the results across these regions signal that voters now prioritize development and decisive leadership over “appeasement politics”. He emphasized that the party’s guiding principle—“Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”—continues to resonate with citizens nationwide.
