Unfazed over uncertainties Hemant says, “Fear is not in my DNA”
Ranchi, August 26: Amidst the political turmoil in the state, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren lambasted the BJP-led Centre for trying to disturb the JMM-led UPA government in Jharkhand after the state wanted its legitimate dues.
Addressing a gathering at a development-cum-assets distribution and inauguration ceremony in Netarhat in Latehar district, Hemant Soren said that for the last several months, BJP led Centre continuously engaged in destabilizing the Jharkhand government in one way or the other.
“When we started to demand our legitimate demands the Centre started using the federal agencies to disturb our government. But this government is so strong that the plans of the opponents are not being successful. They devise one or the other means to stop me from working for the welfare of the people. But I am not afraid of them,” said Soren.
He said that the condition of the state of Jharkhand by the double-engine government in Jharkhand for the last five years is not hidden from anyone.
“The double engine government under BJP did the work of looting the entire Jharkhand. The treasury of Jharkhand was completely empty when the people formed the government under the leadership of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, pushing out the government of double engine. When we started asking for our money from the government, attempts were made to destabilize our government by adopting various tactics. But the opponents do not know that Hemant Soren has not learned to be afraid, Fear is not in my DNA,” said Soren.
“I have never been greedy for power. People’s struggle is hidden in our blood whether there is power or not. Our struggle for the people will continue continuously,” said Soren.
