In his address, Rai said the party believed in the development of each and every community in the country. Former Union Finance Minister and BJP veteran Yashwant Sinha was also present during the conference.

He said the tax laws in the state should be simplified.

He said the BJP should be given full majority by the voters to make the environment conducive for the traders of the state.

Jamshedpur East MLA Raghuvar Das said the BJP had tried to simplify the taxation system in the state, but could not take the initiative further as the government collapsed.
