Jamshedpur: District Bharatiya Janata Party is going to celebrate World Adivasi Day at Town Hall, Sidhgora, on Thursday. This was informed on Wednesday by the district BJP president Dinesh Kumar at a press meet. The event would be organized under the aegis of the SC ST Morcha of the party. Preparations for the event have been completed, said Kumar.
Kaju Shandilya, president of the SC ST Morcha, said party workers from all Mandal units and tribal leaders from different Adivasi organizations have been invited to the event. The chief guest of the programme would be former Chief Minister Arjun Munda. Other dignitaries expected to attend the event include national vice president BJP SC ST Morcha Laxman Tudu, Potka MLA Menka Sardar and Ram Kumar Pahan.
A cultural programme will also be organized on Adivasi Day.
