Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharsawan district committee of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a meeting at Circuit House, Seraikela, on Monday to formulate strategy for agitation to demand electricity and water for the people of the state.
It was unanimously decided to stage a demonstration on 18th June before the office of the deputy commissioner to put pressure on the state government to provide adequate electricity and water supply to the people of the state.
The party leaders discussed at length the power crisis hitting the various localities of the district and agreed on the urgent need to wage a massive agitation on the power and water issue.
The meeting was attended by Vinod Kumar Srivastava, Anantram Tudu, Ganesh Mahali, Sunil Kumar Srivastava, Shambhu Pati, Pankaj Kumar, Mahesh Kundu, Manju Bodra, Hare Krishna, Raja Singhdeo and Satish Sharma.
