Ranchi: State BJP leaders have decided to seek the opinion of party workers before deciding names of candidates for contesting on the 81 Assembly seats in the upcoming polls.
State BJP president Ravindra Kumar Rai said teams comprising three leaders each will go to each of the 14 Lok Sabha constituencies tomorrow.
The model of an Assembly election manifesto has been prepared by the party. It will be issued with the consent of the senior party leaders, party sources said.
Rai said opinions of party workers will be collected from 10 am till 1 pm. A meeting of the party election committee will be held the next day. The finalized list of candidates will be sent to the party leadership.
Rai said the party members have been asked to give their suggestions to the party election committee as early as possible.
