Ranchi: The process of filing nomination will start soon after the issuance of notification for first phase Assembly elections in 13 constituencies in Jharkhand.
Chief election officer of the state PK Jajoria said the notification will be issued tomorrow. The nominations will be filed till 5th November. Scrutiny of the nomination papers will take place till 7th November.
Nominations will be called off till 10th November. Election will take place on 25th November.
The polls in the first phase will be held in Chatra, Gumla, Bishunpur, Lohardagga, Manika, Latehar, Panki, Daltonganj, Vishrampur, Chhatarpur, Hussainabad, Garhwa and Bhavnathpur.
The population of these constituencies is 58 lakh. There are a total of 3939 polling booths in these constituencies.
