Jamshedpur, Feb 9: BJP district general secretary, Anil Modi reacting to the incident of smearing of a board bearing name of former chief minister Raghubar Das at Burmamines with black paint termed it as a ugly and distasteful act which is against democratic tradition.
“One can have difference of opinion with anyone in democracy but opposition should be done in a cultured and democratic manner but such acts of smearing board bearing name of Raghubar Das with black paints shows the mental state of the rivals. The image of Raghubar Das is that of a developmental leader and few leaders of an Independent outfit have lost their mental equilibrium and are causing such acts,” said Modi and asked the district administration to take action against such persons.
