BJP MPs and MLAs to Engage in 3-Day Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, States Aditya Sahu

Ranchi: Aditya Sahu, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State General Secretary, has asserted that the Jharkhand government is hindering the progress of central schemes by causing delays and diversions. Expressing concerns over the impact on schemes such as the Prime Minister’s House, tap water distribution, grain distribution, and Prime Minister’s Road, Sahu highlighted the issues of corruption and delays within the state.

In response, the Modi government has initiated the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra to connect the public with welfare schemes, according to Sahu. The yatra is planned in two phases, with the first phase covering nine districts of Jharkhand, including Khunti, Gumla, Simdega, Dumka, West Singhbhum, Sahebganj, Pakur, and Palamu.

Providing details during a press conference at the state BJP office, Aditya Sahu revealed that the second phase of the yatra is scheduled to commence from December 3rd, continuing until January 26, 2024. Notable BJP figures, including state president Babulal Marandi and Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri, along with all BJP MPs, MLAs, and officials, will participate in the second phase.

Sahu emphasized that the leaders will actively engage in the yatra within their respective areas for a span of three days. In areas without BJP MPs, Rajya Sabha MPs will accompany the yatra for the same duration. Nodal officers have been designated at both state and district levels to facilitate coordination on behalf of the central government. Additionally, Nandji Prasad, the former District President of Jamshedpur, has been appointed at the state level to oversee the yatra’s operations on behalf of the party.
