BJP members demand removal of Jamshedpur MP representative over alleged inefficiency

Jamshedpur, August 22: A recent controversy has erupted involving Sanjeev Kumar, the MP representative for Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto. BJP members have formally protested against Kumar’s continued appointment, alleging inefficiency and favouritism in his role.

Led by Lalan Yadav from Kitadih, Parsudih, a delegation of BJP leaders, including former Panchayat Samiti member Jitendra Yadav and others, submitted a memorandum to MP Mahto. The petitioners criticized Kumar for his lack of work beyond serving a select few and claimed that his performance has not benefited the backward, scheduled caste, and scheduled tribe communities, leading to growing resentment.

The group expressed concerns that Kumar’s actions are damaging the MP’s reputation and urged Mahto to investigate the allegations. They called for Kumar’s removal and replacement to restore faith in the office. MP Mahto acknowledged the complaints and stated he would consider the issue carefully.
