BJP meet focuses on success of ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ campaign

Ghatsila, Sept 3: The BJP District committee convened a strategic meeting focussing on the party’s national campaign, ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh (My Earth, My Country)’. The meeting was chaired by District President, Saurav Chakraborty in which former party MLA Lakshman Tudu was present as a guest.

During the meeting, the District President announced plans to collect soil from every village in the region and send it to Delhi. This collected soil would be used in the construction of ‘Amrit Vatika’ with soil derived from every village across the country. Lakshman Tudu praised this initiative, drawing parallels with the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, the construction for which the first piece of steel was from Jharkhand that was a matter of pride for the entire state.

The other important point reviewed at the meeting was the ‘Sankalp Yatra’ scheduled for October 6 that would be led by State BJP President Babulal Marandi at Ghatshila and Baharagora. Others present in the meeting included District Vice President Vijay Pandey, OBC Morcha District President Saket Agarwal, Mohammad Naushad Ahmed, Ranglal Mahato and Women’s Morcha President Mala D among others.

The BJP leaders and workers brainstormed strategies to make the ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ and ‘Sankalp Yatra’ campaigns successful.
