Jamshedpur, May 4: BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar Mahila Morcha headed by district president Neeru Singh on Thursday distributed ladoos among the commuters after Jharkhand chief minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday announced that only Rs 1 will have to be paid in stamp duty for the registration of immovable property in the state purchased in favour of women.
On the occasion Neeru Singh said that the decision taken by the chief minister will expedite efforts towards woman empowerment in Jharkhand.
Also present on the occasion were Reeta Mishra, Renu Sinha, Priti Padia, Sobha Srivastav, Lucky Singh, Sushila Sharma, Chandana Banerjee, Vijay Laxmi and others.
