Ranchi, March 22: BJP has handed over an audio clip alleging it to be purportedly of Mahagama Congress MLA Deepika Pandey Singh to Chief Electoral Officer K Ravikumar.
BJP claimed that the audio clip contains the voice of the MLA and she is talking to some mukhiya identified as Rafiq Bhai.
A BJP delegation led by state spokesperson Pratul Shahdev met the Chief Electoral Officer and submitted a memorandum to him and demanded an investigation into the matter.
They alleged that code of conduct is being blatantly violated in this conversation and the possibility of a big racket related to corruption cannot be ruled out.
“Who is the Bulbul mentioned in the conversation in the audio clip, to whom the MLA is asking to give Rs 25 lakh. Who is the minister who was mentioned in the conversation? Who are Mukhiya and Rafiq Bhai, names of which DC and DDC are being discussed. All these things should be investigated and immediate action should be taken,” they pleaded.
