Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today conducted a review of Lok Sabha elections 2014 held at Jamshedpur seat recently.
Former Chief Minister and senior party leader Arjun Munda and party candidate from Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato were also present during the meeting.
In his address, Munda said the party activists had worked hard to ensure good performance of the party in the polls as was being talked about by people. Munda said there were enough indications to show that BJP had fared well in the elections owing to the relentless work done by party activists.
He said the party believed in the politics of development and hence was working ahead to strengthen its position in the state. He asked party workers to prepare harder for the Jharkhand Assembly elections. He said the party workers should put in an all-out effort to ensure victory of party in the Assembly elections.
Vidyut Varan Mahato praised party workers for their efforts and expressed hope of his win in the Lok Sabha elections. He said party will also perform well in the Assembly elections. The MLA of Potka Menka Sardar and district BJP president Rajkumar Srivastava were also present during the meeting.
A condolence meet was also held to pay tributes to Shankar Joshi, a party activist, who passed away yesterday.
