Jamshedpur, June 28: A delegation of BJP�s Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency committee members met East Singhbhum Deputy Development Commissioner B Maheshwari on Friday and sought measures to stop alleged encroachment of a leased land at D Road, Sonari.
Leading the delegation, Mukul Mishra, senior BJP leader, said the said plot leased by Tata Steel, is being encroached by certain �unidentified� persons. Surprisingly, authorities concerned have failed to take action against such encroachers, he said.
Mishra handed a petition to the DDC and demanded a thorough probe into the encroachment. He said no one should be allowed to usurp any land without entitlement.
The BJP members who met the DDC included Chitranjan Verma, Lalan Dwivedi, Vikas Singh, Sur Ranjan Rai, Deepu Singh, Uma Shankar Singh, Rajesh Sao, Amarendra Paswan, Chunnu Bhumij and Abhishek Shukla.
