BJP leader objects to school charging annual fees

Seraikela, Jan 25: BJP leader cum Seraikela Nagar Panchayat vice-president Manoj Kumar Choudhary has objected to a private school named St Francis D Sales School asking for annual fees from students.

The leader held a talk with school management in this connection on Monday wherein he informed that due to Covid-19 job have been affected aying nd economy is yet to return back to normalcy and most of the parents are suffering from job loss and financial hardship. Despite such hardships parents have managed to purchase smartphone and also recharging it to facilitate online classes for their children. The parents have also been paying monthly fees regularly and charging of annual fees against the directive of the state government will put additional pressure on the parents.

The leader appealed not to charge annual fees as part of social responsibility.
