Jamshedpur, Jan 18: Ganesh Mahato, BJP leader cum representative of Khunti MP and Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda, died late Tuesday night. His death was condoled by the party leaders and local social activists.
Vijay Mahato, local JMM leader, said the death of Ganesh Mahato had created a vacuum in the region. He said late Ganesh Mahato was known for his affinity for philanthropic activities.
Ganesh Mahato was undergoing treatment at Tata Main Hospital for the last several days. A large number of people visited his house to get his last glimpse.
