Jamshedpur, August 11: With the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections on the horizon, political activity is heating up in Jamshedpur East. On Sunday, Dinesh Kumar, former Mahanagar BJP President and nephew of former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, kicked off a public relations campaign in the constituency. The move comes in response to the growing influence of current MLA Saryu Roy, whose activism has prompted renewed efforts from opposition leaders.

Dinesh Kumar’s campaign began with a meeting in Jojobeda, where he engaged with local residents to hear their grievances. The discussions centred around the perceived neglect of the area by the current MLA, with residents voicing concerns over the deteriorating condition of public facilities. Issues such as uncollected garbage, poorly maintained public toilets, and clogged drains were highlighted as major problems facing the community. Residents expressed their dissatisfaction with MLA Saryu Roy’s handling of these issues and pledged their support for the BJP in the upcoming elections.

Dinesh Kumar assured the residents that he would take their concerns to the appropriate authorities and work towards resolving the problems plaguing the area. He emphasized the importance of addressing these issues, especially in a BJP-dominated region, and criticized the current MLA for failing to deliver on development promises.
