Jamshedpur: District BJP president Dinesh Kumar here on Wednesday launched a grand mass contact programme of the party at booth number 234 in Golmuri Cable Busti.
He visited several households with party members and apprised the residents about the principles of Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, the founder and ideologue of BJP. He informed the residents about the achievements of the Central and state governments.
The BJP members installed party flags at different places and also pasted stickers on the walls of several houses. Many people joined the party during the campaign and assured to lend support to the party in the elections.
Kumar said the BJP was working in the larger interest of the poor. He said the party workers had the responsibility to move door to door and tell people about the ideology and achievement of the party.
Among those present on the occasion included Probir Chatterjee Rana, Pappu Upadhyaya, Kaushik Chatterjee, Lalchand Singh, Uday Choudhary, Santosh Choudhary, Munna Mishra and Bablu.
