Seraikela, Jan 30: Bhartiya Janta Party, Kisan Morcha of Seraikela-Kharsawan with their various demands organized a one day dharna at DC office and submitted a demand memorandum to DC addressed to Governor of Jharkhand.
The demand memorandum included Swaminathan commission recommendation should be made applicable as early as possible.
Paddy purchasing centre in every Panchayat, Support Price of paddy purchase should be increased to Rs 1800 per quintal from Rs1200.
Canals connected to Chandil dam should have water supply facilities, outstanding farmers insurance should be paid soon.
Members of BJP Kisan Morcha headed by their President Ganesh Mahato, Laltu Mahato, Rakesh Tanti, Manohar Mahato and others submitted a memorandum to DC.
