BJP Jharkhand spokesperson Kunal Sarangi likely to join JMM

Ranchi, March 28: Before the Lok Sabha elections, the INDIA bloc is likely to give another blow to the BJP in Jharkhand.

There are whispers that BJP spokesperson Kunal Sarangi will soon join JMM. According to the information, he can be the party’s candidate from Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat. There was intense political activity for the past several days that he could return back to JMM any time.

Incidentally, a few days ago, two big leaders of Jharkhand, Sita Soren and JP Patel, have changed sides. Jama MLA Sita Soren has left JMM and joined BJP. The party has made him its candidate from Dumka Lok Sabha seat.

At the same time, Mandu MLA JP Patel left BJP and joined Congress. The party has made him the Lok Sabha candidate from Hazaribagh seat.

Kunal Sarangi started his politics from JMM. In the year 2014, he reached the assembly from Baharagora assembly on JMM ticket. But when he joined BJP before the 2019 assembly elections, the party again made him its candidate from the same assembly seat. But he had to face defeat from JMM’s Sameer Mohanty.

Kunal Sarangi has received the International Youth Icon award in Chicago, USA. This award was given for contribution in the field of education, health and social welfare in Jharkhand. This honor was given by the Chicago unit of Federation of Indians Association.
