Jamshedpur, Jan 8: In view of the prevailing cold, parliamentarian Bidyut Baran Mahto directed that blankets be distributed among poor and destitute people. Under his directive Jugsalai BJP Mandal president Prakash Joshi led a delegation of party members to Parvati Ghat Basti and made door-to-door visits to distribute blankets. BJP district president was present during the blanket distribution programme.
Anil Modi observed on the occasion that politics was a medium of service to people. He said, �BJP is committed to ensure the light of development among the people.�
Prakash Joshi stated that the blanket movement would continue and the poor and needy would be marked out for this benefit.
Others present in the BJP blanket distribution team at Parvati Ghat Basti were Ranjit Upadhyay, Amit Sharda, Narayan Singh, Anku Singh, Krishnakant Pandey and Sanjiv Pandey.
