Jamshedpur, April 14: The 133rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was observed as Social Harmony Day by BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar. Led by BJP Jamshedpur Scheduled Caste Morcha President Ajit Kalindi and Leader of Opposition cum State President of Scheduled Caste Morcha Amar Bauri, hundreds gathered to pay tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution.
The event commenced with homage to a life-size statue of Baba Saheb near the Sakchi Old Court where BJP workers garlanded the statue. They marched from Sakchi District Office to Old Court Morh, chanting slogans in honor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri emphasized Dr. Ambedkar’s role in promoting social equality and unity, condemning the Congress for conspiring against him. He praised the NDA government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for working in line with Dr. Ambedkar’s vision and sentiments.
Former BJP state president Dr. Dineshanand Goswami highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s dedication to social renaissance and empowerment, particularly of marginalized communities.
BJP Mahanagar President Sudhanshu Ojha reiterated the party’s commitment to fostering social harmony and eliminating caste-class differences, aiming to propel India towards greater unity and glory.
