BJP felicitates AMC while Ward 29 protests lackadaisical approach

Seraikela, May 8: On one hand, a felicitation ceremony was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party RIT Mandal to celebrate the successful completion of the tenure of BJP-backed public representatives of Adityapur Municipal Corporation while on the other hand in Ward 29 of the Municipal Corporation, there was a huge gathering of over 200 people of the area protesting against the pending works of the Municipal Corporation. In the meeting, the works of Adityapur Municipal Corporation and the works of the elected public representatives of the Municipal Corporation were reviewed and different ways to remove the problems of the people of the area were discussed till the new executive committee of the Municipal Corporation was formed.

On the other hand in the meeting at Ward 29 it was decided the people will protest and efforts will be made for the completion of the stalled works of the ward.  Manmohan Singh, son of Late Councilor Late Rajmani Devi on the occasion assured everyone that until the election of the Municipal Corporation is held and the new executive is formed, every happiness and sorrow of the people of the area will be taken care of. Each of their demands will be taken to the appropriate platform and every effort will be made to solve them.

Singh expressed his concern by saying that the previous tenure of the Municipal Corporation was very unsatisfactory. People’s representatives will have to give details of their works. Hundreds of women and men from the area including Chandan Jha, Surendra Singh, Harendra Tinku Lala, Vinay Shankar Singh, Awadhesh Thakur, Ranju Mukhiya, Lakshmi, Savita were present in the meeting.
