Jamshedpur: A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kadma unit, handed over a memorandum to the deputy commissioner and the sub divisional officer of Dhalbhum on Friday to demand rehabilitation of Marine Drive residents before carrying out anti-encroachment drive.
Led by Rakesh Kumar Singh, the party members said the district administration should make genuine efforts to rehabilitate the residents. They said hundreds of families would be rendered homeless by the anti-encroachment drive.
