Jamshedpur, Oct 18: Anticipation is building regarding the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) candidate list for the Jharkhand Assembly elections. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the BJP election co-in-charge, provided an update during a press conference on Friday, confirming that the alliance with AJSU, JDU, and LJP is finalized. Sarma stated that the first list of candidates could be released anytime—potentially as soon as tomorrow or the day after.
He emphasized the significance of collaboration within the NDA, asserting that all discussions moving forward will be conducted under the NDA umbrella. “From today, we are not just BJP or AJSU; we are NDA,” he stated, underlining their collective aim for the development of Jharkhand.
As the BJP gears up for the elections, the party’s seat-sharing arrangements have sparked interest, particularly regarding which constituencies AJSU will contest. Sarma reassured the public of their unified approach, stating that the coalition is prepared to work together for the progress of Jharkhand.
