Jamshedpur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finalized its list of candidates for the upcoming Mango Municipal Corporation and Jugsalai Municipal Council elections.

Sandhya Singh, wife of BJP Business Cell State Convener Neeraj Singh, has been named the party-backed candidate for the post of Mayor in Mango. Meanwhile, Rinku Singh, the wife of prominent businessman and BJP leader Guddu Singh, will be the party’s candidate for the Chairperson’s post in Jugsalai.

BJP District President Sanjeev Sinha confirmed the decision, clarifying that while the elections are technically not being fought on party symbols, the BJP will throw its full organizational weight behind these candidates.


Rinku Singh’s Vision for Jugsalai
Expressing her priorities, Rinku Singh stated that her primary focus would be ensuring a superior water and power supply through Tata Steel UISL. Her development agenda includes:
- Establishing a Women’s College in Jugsalai.
- Resolving waterlogging issues in the Safiganj neighborhood.
- Modernizing waste management and developing parks for children.
- Improving street lighting and parking facilities.
Sandhya Singh Seeks Saryu Roy’s Blessing
Sandhya Singh, the mayoral contender for Mango, emphasized her goal for the “all-around development” of the region, focusing on essential utilities and the future of the youth.

Following the announcement of the party’s support, she, accompanied by her husband Neeraj Singh, met with Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy to seek his blessings for the campaign.
