Ranchi, Nov 16: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has raised objections to a press release issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) following Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s speech in the Prime Minister’s program on November 15. Accusing the press release of being misleading, the BJP is demanding action against the officers responsible for its issuance. The party claims that certain portions were added to CM Hemant’s statement in the press release that were not spoken by the Chief Minister during the event.
According to BJP spokesperson Kunal Shadangi, the Chief Minister’s Secretariat is alleged to have included statements in the press release that were never uttered by CM Hemant Soren during his speech. The BJP has labeled this act as a high-level conspiracy and has called for the state government to address the situation. Shadangi has insisted on Chief Minister Hemant Soren publicly clarifying the content of his speech during the Prime Minister’s meeting, specifically regarding the reported demand for a tribal religion code.
