Seraikela: Bharatiya Janata Party activists staged demonstration before the office of the deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan on Wednesday to demand a solution to the electricity and electricity crisis in the state.
Leading the agitation, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda said the state government had failed to live up to the expectations of the people of the state. He said the government could not provide adequate power and water to the people. As a result of the ongoing crisis, the people were forced to take to the streets to demand power and water.
He said the bureaucrats of the state were also not working properly due to the lax attitude of the government.
Many other BJP leaders were present during the agitation. They included former MLA Anantram Tudu, Shailendra Singh, Barkunwar Gagrai and Vinod Singh.
