Ranchi: Hundreds of BJP activists staged dharna before the party headquarters in the state Capital on Wednesday to protest alliance with AJSU Party for the Assembly polls.
They alleged that the party had allied with a party of a different mindset and that it would greatly damage its image among the voters.
The protestors came from different districts of Jharkhand. Former MLA of Ramgarh Shankar Choudhary led a large number of party workers and raised slogans against party leaders. “We are against alliance with AJSU since BJP does not need to join hands with regional parties. The BJP itself is capable of winning the election without any help,” Choudhary said.
