Jamshedpur: The BJM Mango Municipal Corporation Committee conducted a drive on Monday by visiting Hira Hotel, Mango Post Office Road, Parasnagar, Munshi Mohalla, Gurudwara Road, Gwala Basti, Bankuthnagar and other areas under ward number 33 of Mango. In these areas, mainly people informed the leaders about the problems of drinking water, garbage collection, roads and electricity poles. People said that Gwala Basti community building has been encroached upon. This is being used for personal use. Along with this, the condition of the toilet located here has also become dilapidated.
Electric poles were found dilapidated in Baikunthnagar, as well as complaints were received about stoppage of drinking water supply in Shiv Mandir line Gwala Basti and Baikunth Nagar. The BJM leaders expressed displeasure over the non-supply of drinking water during the summer season and called it a failure of the government machinery. The leaders said that if the problem of drinking water is not resolved soon, the party will be forced to gherao the departmental office.
