Ranchi, July 8: The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology, Centre for Food Engineering & Technology, and Department of Chemical Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra—one of India’s premier technical institutions—have announced the International Conference on Food Chemistry, Microbiology, and Process Engineering for Wellness & Health (FCMPE WellH 25). The event is being organized in collaboration with the University of Georgia, USA.
Scheduled from 10th to 12th July 2025 at the BIT Mesra campus in Ranchi, Jharkhand, FCMPE WellH 25 is poised to be a landmark international gathering. The conference will bring together 400–500 participants, including academicians, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and students from India and abroad.
Themed “Sustainable Processing Technologies for Food Security, Public Health and Nutrition through Academia-Industry Collaboration,” the event aims to foster impactful partnerships between academia and industry.
Highlights of the conference will include keynote lectures by global experts, technical paper presentations, panel discussions, poster sessions, flash talks, quiz competitions, and a major industry exhibition. These segments will focus on the latest innovations in food biotechnology and sustainable food processing, with special emphasis on solutions for public health, nutrition, and global food security.
