Jamshedpur: The fourth match of the Media Cup 2025, organized by the Press Club of Jamshedpur, witnessed an exciting contest between Bistupur Bemisal and Jamshedpur Co-operative College on Friday.
Bistupur Bemisal won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first, the Co-operative College team put up a total of 87 runs in 12 overs, losing just one wicket. In response, Bistupur Bemisal displayed an impressive batting performance, successfully chasing the target in 11.5 overs with two wickets down. Captain Prashant Singh Rajput played a crucial knock, scoring 43 runs to lead his team to victory.

After the match, both teams were honored with trophies. The runner-up Co-operative College team was felicitated by Press Club President Sanjeev Bhardwaj, senior journalist Devendra Singh, and Kaushal Singh. Meanwhile, Jamshedpur Co-operative College Principal Dr. Amar Singh and ABM College Principal Dr. Vijay Kumar Piyush jointly presented the winner’s trophy to Bistupur Bemisal.
The dignitaries praised the Press Club of Jamshedpur for organizing the Media Cup for the past 18 years and expressed their hope for the continuation of such events in the future.
Several club officials and senior journalists, including Devendra Singh, General Secretary Vikas Shrivastava, Vice Presidents Sumit Jha and Rakesh Singh, Treasurer Gangadhar Pandey (Manman), former General Secretary Shyam Jha, Jitendra Kumar, Priyaranjan, Chandrashekhar, and Manpreet Singh, were present at the event.
