Jamshedpur, June 9: On the occasion of the death anniversary of India’s great freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a tribute program was organized on Friday under the aegis of BJMO Scheduled Tribe Morcha Jamshedpur attended by Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy.
Saryu Roy said that the sacrifice made by Birsa Munda for the freedom of the country can never be forgotten. He sacrificed everything for the protection of water-forest-land. During this, a proposal was unanimously presented to install a new marble statue of Birsa Munda in Birsanagar Sunday Market.
