Jamshedpur: Senior BJP leader and Bihar deputy speaker Amrendra Pratap Singh has said that the people of country wants to see Narendra Modi as the PM and expressed apprehensions that Nitish Kumar Government in the state will not be able to complete its term.
Addressing a press meet at circuit house he accused the JD-U of not following the ‘gathbandhan dharma’, and said it amounted to not just weakening but also derailing the coalition.
“Today, people of the country feel crushed by price rise, corruption, scams and anti-farmer policies being pursued by UPA Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and BJP is the only option for the nation, said Singh. Narendra Modi has developed Gujarat and that is why people of the state returned him to power thrice.
In a scathing attack on the Jharkhand Government, the leader said that the Government so far has failed to take any steps to curb corruption or bring welfare projects on track.
People across the state are not very much hopeful about the functioning of this Government. I take this opportunity to ask the party workers to get ready for the Assembly polls, which can take place any time from now, noted the leader.
The government is only aimed at committing `loot’ of government s exchequer. People are looking for a change in the State and likewise the people will vote for a change.
The people have seen all the parties as they are in the Government and doing what they can do.
