Jamshedpur: The bhumi pujan ceremony of Raj Kamal Club Mukhi Samaj Burmamines Durga Puja Committee was organized at Harijan Busti Durga Puja ground on Friday.
Former Zila Parishad member Ganesh Solanki, BJP leader Satish Singh and district Congress general secretary Rajnish Singh jointly inaugurated the bhumi pujan ceremony.
This year the committee is building a grand puja pandal modelled on Baba Barfani of the Amarnath cave at an estimated cost of Rs 3 lakh.
Among those present on the occasion included Hari Mukhi, Bhaskar Mukhi, Ashish Mukhi, Kalakanu Mukhi, Chintu Singh, Amit Sharma Buchhu, Niranjan Mukhi, Shivraj Mukhi, Sibu Mukhi, Gondlo Mukhi, Satish Mukhi, Bablu Mukhi, Bhupendra, Abhishek, Bijay, Bhavani and Rupesh.
