BHRA organizes seminar on human rights

Jamshedpur: Bhartiya Human Rights Association organized a seminar at Khalsa Club, Golmuri, on Sunday. The purpose of the event was to create public awareness on human rights, especially the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution of India.

The various dignitaries present during the programme included the national president of the organization Anurag Chandravanshi, District Bar Association general secretary Anil Tiwary and District Chartered Association president Pawan Agrawal. The guests jointly lit the ceremonial lamp to announce the seminar open.

In his address, Chandravanshi said the outfit members were spreading awareness among the people on human rights for more than 15 years. People are being informed about their fundamental rights and the legal remedies available to them.
The Bar secretary spoke about various laws safeguarding human rights. He said no compromise should be made on the issue of human rights.

The programme was conducted by Bharati and P Vidya. A vote of thanks was proposed by Santosh Tiwary.

Among others present on the occasion included Shiv Shankar Pandey, Prashant Mishra, Amit Upadhyaya, Ravi Prakash, Manish Sharan, Santosh Tiwary, Prashant Tripathy and Raviraj Dubey.
